Activity During WWII

HE PROUDLY SERVED HIS COUNTRY IN THE U.S. MARINE CORPS DURING WWII AND WAS A PEARL HARBOR SURVIVOR. HE WAS A MARINE PRIVATE FIRST CLASS SENT TO PEARL HARBOR TO BEEF UP SECURITY. AFTER COMING OFF OF GUARD DUTY HE WAS ROUSTED FROM HIS SHOWER BY THE BOOM-BOOM-BOOM OF EXPLOSIONS. HE SAW THE JAPANESE PLANES FLYING LOW AND GRABBED A 1903 SPRINGFIELD BOLT ACTION RIFLE AND STARTED TAKING SHOTS AT THE PASSING PLANES. HE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED IN 1945.
