Activity During WWII

Drafted early 1943. Went on to Anzio with the 1st Wave and was the only Medical Hospital Service during the long months before the Allies broke out of the BeachHead Landing. Thousands of injuries of all kinds with no relief, for a long time. The Nazis shelled all around their Red Cross marked tents.
