STAFF SERGEANT. RETURNED WITH GENERAL MACARTHUR TO THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS AND WAS KILLED DURING THE LAST DAYS OF THE WAR. HE WAS BURIED IN THE VETERANS CEMETERY IN MANILA IN 1945.
