SERVED AT THE U.S. ARMY SERVICE FORCES DEPOT IN SOUTH SCHENECTADY, NEW YORK. SHE WAS A MULL TRACTOR OPERATOR AND DROVE THE BOXCAR TRAILERS OF AMMUNITION AND BOMBS ONTO THE TRAINS AND PUT BOXCARS ON SHIPS. SHE STOPPED SABOTAGE AND REPLACED GUNS. WHEN AN ENTIRE NAVY SHIPMENT WENT INTO THE SEA, SHE TOOK OVER THE MACHINES WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND REPLENISHED THE SUPPLIES AND PLACED THEM ON THE SHIP.
