RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING DECORATIONS AND CITATIONS: GOOD CONDUCT RIBBON, ONE BRONZE BATTLE STAR, EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN THEATER RIBBON, COMBAT INFANTRYMAN BADGE. HE RECEIVED WOUNDS IN ACTION IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS ON 22 SEPTEMBER 1944 AND WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 2 FEBRUARY 1945.
