SERVED FROM NOVEMBER 4, 1942 UNTIL HIS DEATH ON APRIL 29, 1945. SERVED WITH THE 66TH ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALION, 12TH ARMORED DIVISION AS A SUPPLY SERGEANT. SAW ACTION IN THE RHINELAND, ARDENNES-ALSACE AND CENTRAL EUROPE CAMPAIGNS. WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT BRENNER PASS, GERMANY. AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART AND THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL.
