PARATROOPER, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION, NORMANDY. DROPPED INTO ST. MERE EGLISE ON D-DAY TO LIBERATE IT AND THEN SECURE OTHER AREAS. WAS ALSO USED AS A NATIVE CODE TALKER AS HE SPOKE HIS NATIVE LANGUAGE MOHAWK. HE FOUGHT IN MANY BATTLES DURING THIS TIME.
