U.S. Army 1943, European Theatre, WWII, Maritime Alps, Germany and France. Received Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Oak Leaf Cluster. Tour of Duty in Korea. Faculty member of U.S. Army Chemical School, Fort McClellan, Alabama. Two of his Field Manuals on Radiological Warfare were published and taught to West Point Cadets. In 1962, died in Paris, France at 37 years old and buried with honors in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
