Activity During WWII

Sergeant, Company Clerk. Inducted at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, with basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Assigned overseas to the 22nd Constabulary Squadron, 14th Constabulary Regiment, 4th Armored Division, U.S. Constabulary Force-Germany. Participated in occupational duties at Bad Neustadt, then to Lager Hammelburg, the location of the former German Prisoner of War Camp Oflag XIII-B. Returned to New York City and to Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, for separation from the service.
