Activity During WWII

He served as a combat medic in the 661st Tank Destroyer Battalion attached to the 69th Infantry Division. His Battalion saw combat in the town of Bulligen, Belgium and crossed through the SiegFried Line into Germany and the city of Leipzig. His outfit was the first unit to meet up with the Soviet Army. HE was awarded the American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and European-African-Middle Eastern THEATER Medal with 2 Bronze Battle Stars.
