Activity During WWII

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served throughout several invasions, including North Africa, Sicily, Italy and on D-Day, he went into combat with the Rangers via a glider. On June 11, 1944, he was captured by German forces, and spent the remainder of the war as a prisoner of war.
