TRAINED IN THE AMERICAN THEATER AT THE NAVAL TRAINING CENTER AT SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, AND NAVAL TRAINING CENTER AT GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI. SERVED IN THE AMERICAN THEATER AT THE SEPARATION CENTER AT NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, AND NAVAL REPAIR BASE AT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA. AWARDED THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. HONORABLY DISCHARGED AND ISSUED THE WWII HONORABLE DISCHARGE LAPEL PIN. CONTINUED IN NAVAL RESERVE SERVICE AFTER THE WAR, INCLUDING ON ACTIVE DUTY UNTIL AGAIN HONORABLY DISCHARGED WITH THE RATING OF YEOMAN THIRD CLASS.
