Activity During WWII

Enlisted March 29, 1944. Part of Company A, 40th Battalion, Camp Crowder, Missouri. Served as an expert rifleman in the North Apennines and Po Valley, Italy. He was missing in action in November 1945. When he was returned to his unit, he spent some time in a field hospital for frost bite. He was discharged in October 1945.
