Activity During WWII

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a ship cook 2nd class. He served aboard a transport during the D-Day Invasion at Omaha Beach. He also served during the invasions of North Africa, Italy and Okinawa. He also witnessed the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri on September 2, 1945.
