Activity During WWII

With the 337th-1338th Engineers attached to the 5th Army in North Africa and Italy; 337th-1338th became Headquarters and Service Company, 182nd Engineer Combat Battalion. Supervised 12 enlisted men in plans and training section. While in Italy the 337th-1338th repaired over 1800 miles of Italian routes, and over 100 bridges were erected.
