Served on cargo ships as a gunner in the Asiatic-Pacific and American Area. Went through the Panama Canal three round trips to get oil. Traveled to the States West Coast to get cargo and delivered to Hawaii, New Zealand, and smaller islands. The cargo was also transferred from ship-to-ship on the high seas.
