Activity During WWII

Helped build the USS Iowa BB-61, USS Missouri BB-63, five Essex Class Carriers, CV-9 Type, and the USS Coral Sea. Helped with repair work on U.S. and Allied warships that could make port at the Brooklyn Navy Yard or New York Naval Shipyard. Officially in the 3rd Naval District. I remained on Essential War time work until my service could be spared or until the end of hostilities.
