Participated in the Ryukyus and Marianas Campaigns. Earned Marksman Qualification with rifle bar. Awarded American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific Theater with Bronze Arrowhead, Philippine Liberation, Good Conduct, Navy Presidential Unit Citation with Blue Star, and WWII Victory Medals. Discharged on January 11th, 1946 at Fort Bliss, Texas.
