Activity During WWII

First Lieutenant, 43rd Air Depot Group, Ordnance Officer (4512). He served in England, France, Belgium, and Germany for a total of 23 months. His battles and campaigns were in Northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. He was authorized 4 Battle Stars on European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon. His enlisted service was 16 months; he attained rank of Staff Sergeant; served as an ordnance depot and supply instructor. He directed processing of ordnance equipment for redeployment to the Pacific Theater of Operations. He attained the rank of First Lieutenant. He was awarded the European-African Middle Eastern Theater Medal, American Theater Medal, and WWII Victory Medal.
