Served in the Women’s Army Corp December, 1943—December, 1945. Enlisted: Office Services; Military Occupational Specialty Code: Stenographer/Administrative Assistant. First Sergeant at discharge from Fort Sheridan, ILLINOIS. Stationed at Bolling Air Force Base, WASHINGTON, D.C., where as a dedicated patriot, she used her exceptional administrative skills and earned multiple promotions to First Sergeant. Decorations: American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, AND WWII Victory Medal.
