Activity During WWII

He proudly served his country when he left for the U.S. Army in 1942 during WWII. He served as a Technical Sergeant in the 116th Anti-Aircraft Gun Battalion. He landed at Utah Beach after sundown on D-Day during the Normandy Invasion. Although unscathed in 5 campaigns he was awarded a Bronze Arrowhead and 5 Service Stars for his participation in the D-Day assault, the Battle of the Bulge, the Liberation of Paris and the Central Europe and Rhineland Campaigns.
