Activity During WWII

He was a survivor of D-Day's Omaha Beach and the Battle of the Bulge. Captured during the Battle of the Bulge and was a Prisoner of War for two weeks. He overpowered a Guard and escaped back to the American Lines at night. He drove the first American tank of General Patton's 3rd Army through the gates of Dachau Concentration Camp, freeing hundreds of surviving Jewish people. His Third Army Unit was the first American Troops to enter Berlin.
