Activity During WWII

Served as a gun crewman for Battery C, 734th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in the South Pacific (New Guinea, Philippine Islands, and Battle of Luzon) from November, 1944 until March, 1946. Awarded the Army good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with service star, and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with service star. Honorably discharged in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin on March 16, 1946.
