Activity During WWII

Inducted into the Army on February 6, 1943, and entered into active service on February 13, 1943. His military occupational specialty title was Airplane Electrical Mechanic at McClellan Field, Sacramento, California. His duties consisted of overhauling airplane magnetos, making pairs to electrical wiring systems in airplanes, repairing and adjusting electrical instruments, using electric meters and gauges for testing equipment, general repair work on airplane engines, fuselages, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and controls. He performed theses duties in England and France. He received the Good Conduct Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged on March 3, 1946.
