Entered army air forces flight training as a women's air service pilot, (wasp), on august 9, 1943 at avenger field, Sweetwater, Texas and graduated on February 11, 1944. duty stations: Sioux falls army air field, Sioux falls, South Dakota; Randolph army air field, San Antonio, Texas and flying training command headquarters, fort worth, Texas. She was killed when the at-6 'Texan' trainer aircraft she was flying, crashed on the night of November 26, 1944, near New Carlisle, Ohio. decorations: WWII victory medal and congressional gold medal.
