Attended City College in New York City until he was drafted to serve his country in WWII. He was immediately selected to participate in an elite training program at MIT in Boston. After two years he was deployed to the Pacific Theatre of operations and honorably served as a Technician 5th grade in the Philippine Islands, New Guinea and Japan.
