Recipient of the Croix de Guerre with Palm Leaf by the French government for participation in the assault on Omaha Beach in Northern France. he also held a Good Conduct Ribbon, Bronze Star, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with Bronze Arrowheads, American Service Medal and Certificate of Merit.
