Activity During WWII

Private First Class, First Battalion, 134th Infantry. Writer of military subjects, editor, interpreter of Prisoners of War. Served in the European theater, 4 major battles. Fought in already occupied Utah Beach and on into Germany. En route, demoed captured German arms. Wounded in the Battle of the Bulge, January 17, 1945, after volunteering to go into German lines to seek enemy information. Medals: American Service, Good Conduct, European-African-Middle Eastern Service, AND Purple Heart.
