Activity During WWII

PRIVATE FIRST CLASS. Entered into the Army on October 2, 1942. Served with the 31st Infantry Division 'Dixie', in the 124th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Company E as an Infantryman and Truck Driver. Saw combat with the 124th in the New Guinea and Southern Philippine Islands Campaigns. Honorably Discharged from service on December 28, 1945. Awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, AND American Theater, ASIATIC-Pacific Theater, Philippine Liberation, and WWII Victory Ribbons.
