Activity During WWII

A B-17 Pilot, flew 27 missions. he was a member of the 348th Bombardment Group of the 8th Air Force. Though sadly lost on March 13th, 1944 during a raid over the Schweinfurt ball bearings plant, he served in campaigns during the liberation of occupied Europe, and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters for his sacrifices and personal valor.
