Inducted on 11/25/42 and discharged on 7/25/45. Received Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and 4 Bronze Stars. 159th Infantry, Battle of the Bulge, Germany. He was in charge of military passenger trains transporting soldiers in combat zone. He was in charge of train crew, giving orders for entering and leaving train and servicing of train crew.
