Activity During WWII

Captain; worked for the office of strategic services. Was recruited from her job with the women's auxiliary air corps and ASSIGNED TO Poland from October, 1945 to February, 1946. Employed as a clerk at the U.S. embassy in Warsaw, but her real job was to report on soviet troop movements. Recommended for the legion of merit in 1946, but it was awarded posthumously on June 1, 2016.
