Activity During WWII

Rank: Private. On May 26, 1943, he entered the United States Army at Kalamazoo, Michigan, later transferred to Camp White, Oregon for his Infantry and artillery Training. After the completion of his training, he was assigned to Charlie Battery, 362nd Field Artillery Battalion a subordinate unit of the 91st Infantry ‘Pine Tree’ Division. He died in a non-battle incident on Sunday, April 23, 1944 and personnel of the Quartermaster Corps returned his body to his family for burial, with interment at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan. He was an American Patriot, who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of his country.
