Activity During WWII

Sergeant, Company M, 30th Infantry Battalion assigned to the Infantry Replacement Training Center (IRTC), training soldiers at Fort McClellan, Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama after having spent 27 months in Panama. Died from injuries received from flying shrapnel from an erratic 81 mm mortar shell during an authorized training session on the Morrisville field maneuvers area on August 4, 1945.
