Activity During WWII

He was a member of the 22nd Infantry of the 4th Division, and under Brigadier General Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., his unit landed at Utah Beach at Normandy during the Allied landings on D-Day. He fought in the Normandy Campaign in the push for Cherbourg and Paris, until he was sadly lost on July 31st, 1944, at St. Lo., France, during the liberation of occupied Europe.
