Activity During WWII

Joined the front lines in December, 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes Forest in Belgium. Was part of the 47th Infantry Regiment (The Red Raiders) and was one of the first soldiers to cross the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen at 4:00 am on March 8, 1945. On the front lines 120 straight days.
