Enlisted in the army as a Registered Nurse and was sent to Longview, TEXAS. From there, SHE WENT to Boston, MASSACHUSETTS and eventually to Camp Kilmore, NEW JERSEY to be sent to Germany. SHE was aboard a ship for 2 weeks AND ARRIVED AT THE 121st General Hospital in Bremehaven, Germany. SHE THEN SERVED IN Salzburg, Austria. SHE RETURNED to Bremehaven to BOARD A SHIP BACK to the UNITED STATES. SHE WAS stationed at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. until HER Discharge.
