Activity During WWII

She was an Army Nurse. She was a member of the 11th Evacuation Hospital that deployed from Ft Dix, New Jersey. The hospital landed in North Africa and was part of the command of General George Patton. They also were in Sicily with Patton. They were then attached to General Mark Clark's Fifth Army and proceeded up the Italian boot. The hospital landed at Anzio and entered Rome. They then were attached to the Seventh Army, landing in Southern France and proceeding into Germany.
