Activity During WWII

He served during WWII with the 33rd Infantry Division, 123rd Infantry Regiment, Company K, in the Pacific Theater of Operations During the New Guinea Campaign. On September 17, 1944, he was killed by shrapnel from a mortar shell. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
