Rank: Private. On December 7, 1939, he entered into the United States Mare Corps from New Hampshire, receiving his Basic Combat Infantry Training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. Served with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine ‘The Fighting Fourth’ Division. Killed in Action Tuesday, June 27, 1944 on Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Pacific Theater of Operations. This Marine, an American Patriot awarded the Purple Heart posthumously, who so gave his life for his country.
