Activity During WWII

Served in the 93rd Chemical Mortar Battalion until November 10th, 1944 when he was injured during a training accident at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. He was hospitalized for 60 days, and transferred to the 44th Armored Infantry Battalion as a light truck driver. He was a member of the occupation forces in Germany after the surrender and served in the 6850th Internal Security Detachment, which provided security functions at the Nuremberg trials.
