Entered military on November 18, 1942. Was member of 11th Armored Division, 81st Medical Battalion, Company A. Divison landed in France on Decembr 16, 1944 and assisted in fight of the Battle of the Bulge. Division continued to fight through Europe. Drove half-track for company command post. Discharged on January 8, 1946. Received Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, American Theater Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal.
