Activity During WWII

Rank: Private 1st Class. On June 6, 1942, he entered the United States Army Air Corps at Cincinnati, Ohio. Served with the U.S. Army Air Corps, Second Airdrome Squadron attached to the 453rd Bomb Squadron a subordinate unit of the 330th Bomb Group in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He died Tuesday, May 2, 1944 in a Non-Battle incident and buried in the United States Armed Forces cemetery in Brisbane, Australia. After the cessation of hostilities with Japan, his remains were transferred to Honolulu with interment January 24, 1949 in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific ‘Punchbowl’ Hawaii. This Airman, an American Patriot so gallantly gave his live in the defense of his country.
