Activity During WWII

He was an officer candidate, attended Villanova College to receive his commission as an Ensign, U.S. Navy, and shortly thereafter Harvard University to attend the Naval Training School (Supply Corps), before reporting for duty on board the USS Bennington (CV-20). This training was under the V-7 Program, the '90 Day Wonders', to increase the ranks of Naval Officers needed in WWII.
