First orders were to report to Camp Grant, Illinois on May 2nd, joining the Army Nurse Corps, part of the New Guinea Campaign, Luzon Campaign and the Bismarck-Archipelago Campaign. Decorations and citations: WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon with 3 Bronze stars, 4 overseas service bars, Philippine Liberation ribbon with one Bronze star and American Theater Campaign ribbon. Discharged February, 1946.
