Activity During WWII

As a Navy officer's wife she was a very Active leader in the Unites Service Organizations, Navy Relief Society, and Red Cross. She raised over $100,000 in the 5th Victory bond drive. Volunteered over 500 hours at the Red Cross and managed the USO navy canteen at Portland.
