Activity During WWII

On April 13, 1942 he left Mount Carmel to serve his country. He was trained as a mechanic for diesel engines, a radar operator, served in out post for control of B-25 bombers and served with the 15th Army as a field artillery man firing 155 Howitzer guns. On March 27, 1945 he boarded the English ship Queen Elizabeth from New York City for Scotland. Tour of duty 1942-1945.
