Activity During WWII

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps at 18 years old in 1942 during WWII. He spent 30 months in the Pacific Theater of Operations and served as a platoon Sergeant. He landed on Okinawa with the third wave shortly after Easter, April 1, 1945. He experienced the worst fighting in the final three weeks on Okinawa. He received BATTLE STARS FOR ROI-NAMUR, MARSHALL ISLAND AND OKINAWA.
