Served in 764th Bomb Squadron, 461st Bomb Group, Fifteenth Air Force as a pilot flying B-24 Liberators. He served as the Squadron Operations Officer. After V-E Day he was checking out in B-29 aircraft for service in the Pacific when the war ended. Continued his service after WWII.
