Enlisted February 8, 1944 in the U.S. ARMY. Bravely served with the 2ND Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division in the large scale Allied Offensive into the Siegfried Line. Was killed in action on Friday, February 16, 1945. Buried with honor in the Luxembourg American Cemetery. Awarded the PURPLE HEART.
